These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Car Cosmetic Solutions.
All work is carried out by Car Cosmetic Solutions on the understanding that the client has agreed to these terms and conditions.
At the time of acceptance of work to be carried out, Car Cosmetic Solutions may request an upfront payment (for example a minimum deposit of £50) to secure your booking. Payment of a deposit, written acceptance, and/or commencement of repairs will bind the client to these terms and conditions.
Charges for any additional services over and above the estimate or quotation become fully payable at the time those extras are accepted.
We may request an email address so we can send an invoice. Invoices are due for payment on the date the work is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices which remain outstanding for 14 days after the invoice date may incur a charge of 5%, and 5% per month thereafter of the outstanding amount including prior charges.
Payments may be made by bank transfer, cash, or other methods we confirm in writing. Card or online payment facilities (for example PayPal), if offered, may incur an additional processing charge as stated at the time of payment.
Bank transfer details will be provided on your invoice or booking confirmation. Please use the reference given so we can allocate your payment.
Returned cheques (if accepted) may incur an additional fee. We reserve the right to treat an account as in default in the event of a returned payment.
An account shall be considered in default if it remains unpaid for 30 days from the date of invoice, or following a returned payment. Car Cosmetic Solutions will not provide further services until the account is cleared. This does not relieve the customer of the obligation to pay amounts due. Customers whose accounts become default agree to pay reasonable legal expenses and third-party collection agency fees incurred in enforcing these Terms and Conditions.
The customer agrees that changes required over and above the quoted work, or required after acceptance of the quotation, will be liable to a separate charge. Car Cosmetic Solutions holds no responsibility for amendments made by any third party before or after a quotation is issued.
Any indication of work duration is an estimate only. Car Cosmetic Solutions cannot be held responsible for over-runs, whatever the cause.
Work is considered complete upon receipt of payment (or as otherwise agreed). Materials used form part of the completed repair. Checking and accepting the work on the day (or paying in full where inspection is not possible) is treated as acceptance of satisfaction with the work carried out, subject to any workmanship guarantee we confirm in writing.
Cancellation of quotations or booked work must be made by WhatsApp, text message or email. You must give a minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to the booking date. Any deposit may not be refunded if this notice is not given.
Any costs Car Cosmetic Solutions has already incurred (including parts pre-ordered and materials or paints bought for your vehicle) may be fully chargeable.
Where a refund is due, payment of the refund may take between 5 and 10 working days.
If a vehicle is not collected, or parts have to be held because of delays caused by the customer, or arrangements are not made for collection after completion has been notified, storage charges may apply at the rates applicable at the time (for example as notified in writing).
Car Cosmetic Solutions reserves the right to hold a vehicle after completion of repairs until the account is paid in full, and to exercise rights under applicable law in respect of uncollected goods, including after appropriate notice.
If instructions are not received from a customer (in response to an estimate) within 28 days, reasonable storage charges may be invoiced from receipt of the vehicle until collection, as notified.
Car Cosmetic Solutions may refuse to carry out all or part of any work for any reason, whether or not an estimate has been provided.
Car Cosmetic Solutions reserves the right to use the services of sub-contractors, agents and suppliers. Any such work may be bound by their terms. We will not knowingly act to contravene those terms, and the client also agrees to be so bound where applicable.
These Terms and Conditions supersede any previous terms distributed in any form. Car Cosmetic Solutions reserves the right to change rates and these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this website.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Payment of a deposit, written authorisation, or commencement of services offered by Car Cosmetic Solutions is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are freely available on this website.
